Joseph M. Sperlazza

What skills did you gain that you found to be advantageous from being part of the group?
I believe the organizational level of my overall Rutgers training served me well in my career. I developed a number of support services within a large urban school district, including: guidance, alternative education, violence prevention, character education, and substance abuse prevention
programs.

What have you been doing since you graduated?
Since retiring from the school district I have launched an in-home tutoring business with my son.

Do you have any tips for current lab members?
Give your studies (including experimental components) your best efforts. Your investment in gaining knowledge and experience will serve you well. My experience bears out something a few things I've heard along the way:
A)      "It seems the harder I work, the luckier I get."
B)      "When the time to perform arrives the time to prepare has passed."
