Accessing the Rutgers Database from Off-Campus

There will be times that you do research at a location somewhere other than the lab/Rutgers. There are several options available to you. Option 1 is recommended if you are only accessing

  1. From a Rutgers Libraries' page, just click on the NOT LOGGED IN link on the upper left. Then enter your NetID and Password into the Login box.
  2. VPN - Cisco VPN Client is a third-party software program that allows users to use the Rutgers Network from off-campus. Program can be downloaded here and configuration instructions here.
